I’ve been a photographer for over 20 years and love helping beginners get into the medium. My own work often explores the conflict between the natural and unnatural, capturing man-made spaces that have been reclaimed by nature, or natural environments that are shaped by those within them.

I shoot a mix of film and digital, and enjoy all parts of the process, from wandering neighborhoods in big cities, seeking out small details and stories, to developing, scanning, and editing. Once in a while, I’m asked to shoot headshots or weddings. It brings me immense joy to capture the energy of the day, and produce photographs that can transport people back to a place or moment in time.
